Maintenance of an elevator or escalator is in many ways comparable to a car service. The elevator needs lubrication, cleaning and maintenance to function optimally.

There have been changes in the regulations, making such that the screw lifts no longer have a large market. And that is good! The safety of a 'real' lift is significantly higher, and comfort is better!
